In effect, you lose the old familiar feat in exchange for the new one. When you gain a new level, if your current familiar does not meet the prerequisite of a familiar feat you possess, you can learn a new familiar feat in place of the feat your familiar doesn’t qualify for. A new familiar that meets the prerequisites automatically gains the benefits of that feat. If you lose your familiar and gain a new familiar that doesn’t meet the listed prerequisites for a familiar feat you possess, your new familiar doesn’t gain the benefits of that feat. Wizards can take a familiar feat as a bonus feat, and witches can select a familiar feat in place of a hex. Style feats provide benefits representing different martial arts schools and are typically based on the abilities or mannerisms of specific creatures. Id try experimenting with a very, very small window, and then slowly increasing the window size until the fps starts to drop. I dont know why it works, but it works for me. By selecting feats, you can customize and adapt your character to be uniquely yours. I have a 4k monitor, and by playing the game in less than a quarter or so of my screen, fps does not die a miserable death. Don't use "dynamic" scaling. However, try to hard-set your display resolution in the options menu. (Some failure alerts intercept the mouse focus, which can be very unhelpful at times, since one can't visually detect that.) Scrolling takes ages and the latency of clicks makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Well, I can't drag my mouse without a massive lag.
